SMART SENSORS TO ENHANCE THE RELIABILITY OF PHOTOVOLTAIC MODULES!
The durability and performance of photovoltaic (PV) modules are often affected by environmental factors and mechanical stress, leading to long-term power degradation.
Monitoring these effects is essential, but the current use of bulky external sensors compromises accuracy in measuring critical parameters such as internal temperature and humidity.
To overcome this challenge, the CPVH Project is developing small, flexible, printed electronic sensors specifically designed for electronic integration, crucial for Internet of Energy (IoE), inside PVs. Unlike conventional sensors, these printed sensors are cost-effective, provide rapid response to stimuli, and can be produced using deposition techniques.
By integrating these precise and flexible sensors into the module, the Project aims to collect real-time, high-accuracy data, improving lifespan and enabling quickly repair of photovoltaic technologies.
