THERMAL INNOVATION AT THE SERVICE OF ENERGY EFFICIENCY!
Innovative thermal components will be incorporated into the hybrid concentrator solar modules, the solution being developed under the CPVH Project. These advanced thermal collectors will be integrated into two system modules: the hybrid concentrated photovoltaic modules and the energy storage modules.
In the hybrid modules, the aim is to integrate photovoltaic-thermal (PVT) technology, enabling the maximisation of solar energy use by simultaneously producing electricity and heat. In the energy storage module, thermal components are essential to ensure the solution’s viability during nighttime operation. By using fluid-based cooling systems, the Project ensures enhanced safety and extends the backup battery lifetime, mitigating the risk of degradation.
With an advanced thermal design, the CPVH transforms solar radiation into a clean, autonomous, and efficient energy source.
